Questo secondo volume dell’Opera omnia di Giovanni Franzoni riporta tre suoi lavori: distinti non solo, ovviamente, per la diversa scansione temporale ma, soprattutto, per la loro rilevanza istituzionale. E, tuttavia, uniti da un filo rosso – il problema dei beni comuni del pianeta e del cosmo – che li lega idealmente, anche se non furono pensati in serie, ma nacquero sollecitati dalle circostanze. I tre testi di Franzoni, cui si aggiungono alcuni scritti occasionali sullo stesso tema, rimangono di grande attualità, ed aiutano a comprendere meglio qualche importante evento ecclesiale degli ultimi decenni; ma, soprattutto, pongono questioni capitali sulle quali si è chiamati a rispondere.
